【What is「Rediscover Okinawa NEXT」】

“Rediscover Okinawa NEXT” is a campaign implemented by the government in order to support tourism-related businesses whose demand has declined due to the impact of the novel coronavirus infection.

This campaign aims to stimulate tourism demand by issuing “regional coupons” that can be used at souvenir shops and tourist facilities, in addition to “travel discounts” for travel products and accommodation services.

※Please be aware that the contents of this campaign are subject to change.

＜When?＞

From 2022 October 11th to the end of 2022 December

＜Who can apply?＞

Residents of Japan, including those residing in Okinawa.

＜What do I need?＞

1）Presentation of ID (Proof of residence in Japan)

2) Vaccination certificate (3 times) or negative PCR test result ※1

（※Only for those aged 12 and older.）

※1：Those who have completed the third vaccination do not need to be tested if they show proof of vaccination.

＊Antigen Quantitative Test: Within 3 days (72 hours) before accommodation or travel start

＊Antigen qualitative test: The day before or on the day before accommodation or travel

※Commercial test kits (self-check) are not eligible.

※Children under the age of 12 traveling with family members living together do not need to be tested.

※Okinawa residents have several PCR test stations that they can use for free.

＜Travel discount＞

Discount rate: 40% of the travel/accommodation fee

※The campaign applies to a maximum of 7 nights per reservation or application.

-Maximum discount amount-

※per person/night

① Travel products with transportation: Discount up to 8,000 yen

② Other than travel products with transportation: discount up to 5,000 yen

③ Day Trip: Discount up to 5,000 yen

＜Regional coupons＞

Local coupons will be handed out by the accommodation facility on the day of the tour for day tours and on the day of check-in for overnight stays. It can only be used at participating stores using regional coupons in Okinawa Prefecture.

Weekdays：￥3,000

Weekends and Holidays：￥1,000

-Regional coupon expiration date-

Accommodation reservations: from the time of check-in to the next day of the check-out date

Day trip reservations: From the tour participation day to the next day

＜Notes＞※Please read carefully※

（1）In the unlikely event that the reservation of the travel product is canceled due to the customer’s convenience, the following cancellation fee will be charged. The cancellation fee will be calculated from the regular price before the discount, and we may ask for additional payment. Cancellation fees cannot be paid with regional coupons.

-Cancellation policies-

10 to 8 days before the date of use: 20% of the original price

7 to 2 days before the date of use: 30% of the original price

The day before the date of use: 50% of the original price

On the day of use: 100% of the regular price

（2）If you do not meet the conditions for test confirmation or vaccination, or if you forget the required documents on the day, you will be charged the original price and will be charged the discounted amount on the day.

（3）Rediscover Okinawa NEXT sales will end as soon as the budget is reached.

（4）After the start of this campaign, if the new coronavirus infection situation worsens, the campaign may be suspended or canceled.

（5）Cannot be combined with other businesses discounts or services.
